Geoweb is the framework designed to create Technical-Management applications based on ‘open’ protocols and standards, which can be fully customised.
Over the course of an extensive number of projects, Geoweb Italy’s Team has been able to engineer the technology by stepping back from individual application cases and investing on the underlying technology. This made it increasingly more configurable and flexible and enhanced it, until it reached a set of application features with hardly any equivalents on the market.The result is an extremely flexible technological base, which is powerful and complete. It can tackle projects in a number of different areas without distinction, covering a number of markets at the same time. Requirements Geoweb Framework is a program written in Java and based on a 3-level architecture compatible with all the main forms of IT infrastructure. Here below are the main technologies compatible with Geoweb’s architecture:
• Server Operating System: Windows Server 2008 (R2) or later versions Linux RHEL 6.5 or equivalent (e.g.: CentOS 6.5).
• WEB Server: IIS (7.5 or higher) Apache HTTP (2.0 or higher). Other web servers compatible with the ones listed above.
• Authentication System: Microsoft Active Directory (with a specific plug-in), LDAP (with specific plug-ins) integrable with other SSO systems with specific plug-ins.
• Web Browser: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer (Rel.11). Other browsers compatible with HTML5.
• Database: Oracle (10g or higher), PostgreSQL (9.2 or higher), SQLServer (2008 r2 or higher).
• Application Server: Tomcat (7.0.5.2), Oracle WebLogic Server (12c), JBoss. Other Application servers compatible with the ones listed above.
Integrazione IOT The projects developed with Geoweb® technology can be integrated with Smart Platform technology, the innovative solution developed by the Filippetti Group for the IoT world.
The integration with data from any kind of sensor enables innovative application features, integrating monitoring features with business one and giving the data a far greater value than what would happen in a simple IoT system.
The heart of technology is the exclusive SmartNetwork communication infrastructure, the only mesh network in the world that is fully operated with batteries with an operating life of over 15 years*
The network can be installed and uninstalled in a very short time without affecting the normal operations of the company, plants and structures and without any construction or electrical work.The main components of the SmartNetwork are the Routers, which are positioned to provide radio coverage to the spaces to be instrumented. They interconnect with each other to deliver targeted messages by automatically bouncing the signal from one to the other.
The router mesh is then connected to the IP network and then to the internet through a gateway (there are different types of gateways depending on the available connection, Ethernet, UMTS, PowerLine, USB, etc.).The tracking tags and sensors connect to the routers and are located by them.The architecture of the platform is designed to allow for connectivity, to acquire data and remotely control monitoring and management services in contexts where traditional technologies do not allow you to implement services without the often unsustainable impact on normal operations.
Suite Modules
This is where the “work in progress” areas related to the various domains of application are located (e.g.: architectural, structural, etc.). An interactive home page allows you to view an overview of the project documentation produced in this area.
This is where the creation of the sheets related to project documentation (consisting of two sections) is handled: one related to the creation/import of the model files, the other related to the creation/import of project designs.At this stage there is a set of Model details from which you can create/import the models to which the model files will refer.Files related to each sheet generated can be uploaded in two ways:
• via the Upload Manager client desktop (in case of IFC model files)• by uploading directly from the file/design sheet
Details of the model file in relation to those of the project designs are only divided in the Progress area.

CDEWork in Progress
This is the module that allows you to check the list of documents produced during the project stages and perform the verification and approval workflows.Specialized for the BIM world, it is divided into 3 areas: Work in Progress, Share and Publish.The specific part of the project is developed in each area and the documentation produced, with the various reworkings and revisions, will remain within the area until an agreement degree of development is reached.
UPLOAD MANAGER (client)
An IFC file is imported by using a Upload manager (client desktop) desktop component that works by allowing you to first select the sheet of the model file previously created by the user and then upload the IFC file both in the Mongo DB and the document manager.

The Share part is the area in which the various design teams place the subsequent progress of their work, in the various agreed development stages, thereby sharing them.Please note that at this stage the project is still being created and the documentation cyclically deposited and collected from the various teams allows everyone to quickly align themselves with any modifications and improvements made by each one of them.
Publish is the area where the project documentation completed and shared by the various design teams is deposited and approved by the client. The deposited documentation is in line with the implementation stage.
Useful configuration module for design encoding (projects, originator, volume of system, levels and locations, type, roles, classifications, suitability, revisions), processing of the design format and consultation of the their status.
• Project document revision (the revision process of a document changed the status in “Revision” and allows you to create a new design with a different revision on the Work area)

Application module for the technical, administrative and operational management and monitoring of Work Plans.It allows you to define and manage the project WBS and monitors the state of progress and relative criticalities.The single work plane (for the whole work, part of it, stage, etc.) can be uploaded by work Scheduling software in the most common interchange formats.It allows you to attribute the time and resources at each stage, so that an analysis of needs and overlaps can be carried out even between several parallel projects.For each scheduled Task, you can monitor the progress status by collecting field information, the designs produced or through specific sensors.

BIM explorer is a module that allows you to upload several templates at the same time, i.e. a complete model reconciliation is performed (CDAT).
There is a console that allows you to delete obsolete models and allows you to choose which model design must be used for the reconciliation, i.e. it must be made available in the list of selectable models in an overview. NEXT RELEASE
In Bim Explorer, when a model is active, the sheet of the parts of works/element must always be displayed in the lower section of the BIM Viewer. NEXT RELEASE
• Import with a specific action of the Mongo DB data on GEOWEB (Extraction of parts of works from IFC files).
• ‘EXPLORE’ browsing mode: default mode, with which the model (Mongo DB data and any information of data imported on GW) is questioned.
• ‘EDIT’ browsing mode: used to edit graphical objects (it moves objects).

Application Module for Archiving Designs and Project Models.This is the main module that collects all the information and documents that form be a Works Folder organised by Site, Building, Subject, Project, etc.It integrates a powerful document system and allows you to file Project designs, Accounts, AsBuilt drawings, Certifications, Checklists, etc., which are produced in the various stages of design and construction of the works.
These documents can be uploaded directly on the module via UpLoad tools or published by the other modules during operational activities (Project Management, Inspections, Requests, etc.).It allows you to validate uploaded documents and to collect any alphanumeric information about the works or part of them (sheets).One can define two different steps:
• Step 1: part where all the Project Information Model project documents (archiving, asbuilt) come together;
• Step 2: Asset Information Model, where generic documentation is uploaded; this is where all the generic documents specifically related to objects involved in the modelling of parts come together. They are not related to design in the strict sense of the term, but are object-related documents.
