MANY CITIES IN SE EUROPEAN REGION ARE IMPLEMENTING THE FOLLOWING STEPS FOR BEING MORE “SMART”• Smart Transport & Mobility: traffic lights with centralized control – thus the average traveling time is 30% less and the fuel consumption is down 7%, SMS payment for street parking, vehicles distant control for higher fuel saving, etc. In terms of e-mobility, SE Europe is at its early stage and governments are going to stimulate this emerging industry. The transition to nZEBs is underway, too. From 2019 on all new municipal and state buildings have to be with nearly zero energy consumption.
