mSehat – A unique Mobile Healthcare Initiative of SIFPSA to empower FLWs for better Healthcare Information
mSehat• The goal of mSehat is to accelerate the reduction of maternal, neonatal,
child mortality and total fertility rate in UP by empowering frontline healthworkers (ASHA and ANMs) and providing smart-phones with customizedapps that capture the complete RMNCH+A continuum of care services toimprove performance through effective planning, management andexecution of their day-to-day work.
• System Integrator(SI) is entrusted with responsibility of operations andimplementation of 3 year pilot project in 5 HPDs of UP. Apps developed inphased manner and FLWs trained on apps. Smartphones and Tablets given to12000 FLWs
• Services given by ASHAs are monitored by ANMs, services given in the fieldare updated on devices Need for mSehat
