A smart-phone is a cellular device with extra functionality which provides convenience to the user in all facets of life
These extra functionalities include an organiser, internet connectivity, in some cases access to a GPS and more.
A smart-phone can be touch screen or have a quark key pad. But the functions will still be the same.

This impact in business dealings is likely to cause an increase in demand for smart-phones.
Conclusion
Putting the advantages and disadvantages of using a smart-phone together, we find that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. So smart-phones are a good investment and one day they may become a necessity.
