• This is Transmedia - the building of a narrative and an understanding through experiencing different views of the same experience.

Smarter Lives• With an ageing and ever increasing population, we are experiencing a moment in the urbanisation of our planet that has not been matched in significance since the dawn of the industrial revolution.

• Smarter Lives takes the concept of Smarter Cities and places it in the context of real people living their lives in a modern urban conglomeration.

• The project records the experience of living in a changing world and the impact of ideas across the disciplines of Design, Architecture, Information Technology, Psychology, Sociology and Government that help transform these lives.

• Aggregating content including original video, photography, audio, blogs and articles, the website will provide users with a variety of media, the juxtoposition of which will enable them to construct their own stories as they explore the content.

• The site is intended to be used as a resource for researchers, students, citizens, scientists, writers and artists with an interest in the ongoing story of urbanisation.
