The Splashbacks are an immenselypractical addition to any kitchen as theyare easy to clean, with no grout lines tocollect dirt and grease, so they cannotharbour germs or bacteria.

They are made from opaque colouredglass which will not allow any show-through from the surface behind.

AN ECONOMICAL

SOLUTION

They are an extremely cost effectivealternative to tiles and result in a smoothand seamless finish.

All products have been rigorously testedand perform well under heat. They complywith all the relevant British SafetyStandards, (BS6206 and PREN 12600) andare heat resistant to 120ºC of direct heatand 420ºC of indirect heat.

Smeg Splashbacks are available in aselection of heights and widths to enhancethe diverse range of appliances. There arematching Upstands which are 140mm highand come in packs of 2 x 1 metre lengths,to be fitted to the wall behind the worktop.These can also be cut to size on site by theinstaller to ensure a perfect fit.

SAFE AND EASY

TO INSTALL

To make installation of our Splashbacks assimple and problem-free as possible, theyall come with a self-adhesive safetybacking which is guaranteed not todegrade. This means that it is a simpleprocedure to peel off the backing, positionthe Splashback on the wall and then fixwith a recommended adhesive.

It is also possible to choose a mix ofcoloured panels as they can be fusedtogether to create virtually invisible joints.

NOTE: SPLASHBACKS ARE TOUGHENED GLASS EXCEPT THE MATT VERSIONS. UPSTANDS ARE NOT TOUGHENED.
