Introduction…….. SMEGS Brand (Pty) we a legally registered entity under section 160 of the companies

Act, 2008 domiciled in the Republic of South Africa an empowerment company that has

identified and positioned itself to be one of the South African leading brands and to

become a major role player in the development of the South African economy. We are a full

scale events management, marketing company with a division of a food and beverages

department trading as SMEGS Café, this entity has been formally operating for (4) four

years to date, but the team behind the production have over (8) eight years of experience

in the industry. SMEGS Brand was formed in the city of eMalahleni in Mpumalanga

Province, and then spread its wings and started operating in the rest of Gauteng Province.

Our Company prides itself with warm, friendly and uncompromised services.

We design progressive, dynamic, innovative themes and concept events throughout the

two provinces Mpumalanga and Gauteng. Our business is to ensure our entire event from

the beginning till the end we exceeded all clients expectations. Since the entity was

founded we have created a good partnership with some of the South African events and

marketing solutions companies to ensure our great services to all customers, we have

produced good memorable events by incorporating and adapting all aspects that will add

greatness to all upcoming events such as:

Gala dinners, Conferences and Annual corporate companies’ year end events. Products and

company launches, Exhibitions, High profile people’s private events and Weddings. Annual

weekend events in up class bar and lounges, Welfare charity events, fundraising and golf

days.

We Manage events through the entire process – from first ideas through all aspects of

management to final evaluation ensuring that the event is a resounding success, in

partnering with different companies for relevant services.

Q-1: Why should someone hire me (SMEGS BRAND)?

I am essentially your event and wedding "insurance." I ensure that the ideal team of vendors is

assembled, the details are attended to, and the timeline runs smoothly so that the couple is able to

enjoy a stress-free day of celebrating with their family and friends.

Q-2: What are the common misconceptions about my services?

A true understanding of the number of hours it takes to effectively plan and detail an event. Most

people do not realize that selecting the location and the vendors is only a very small portion of the

decisions that need to be made.

Q-3: What drew me to this field/how did I get started?

A I grew up in a very vibrant family and we often had hosting parties which I loved helping them

plan. I started working for a number event companies with assisting them at no charge. With this

background I then decided to become involved in Weddings and private corporate event planning.

Q-4: What are some sources of inspiration or influences my work?

Inspiration comes from the clients or couples, what is unique to them, their families, culture or their

company. It's important to really get to know whom you are working with so you understand what

their vision is and how you can turn it into a reality. The most rewarding thing to hear is that you

understood exactly what was envisioned, even though, at times, it was hard to

describe.

Q-5: About a favourite, unusual or most interesting moment at a wedding?

There was a wedding once where the flower girl and a pageboy were very young. They were pushing

a small carriage filled with flower petals down the aisle, but stopped halfway and refused to go any

further and the girl started to cry. Without any prompting, the ring bearer marched back down the

aisle, and escorted the carriage, the flower girl and pageboy to the ceremony platform as the guests

all applauded.

born in 1986 and hails

Lynnville Township

(formerly known as

Witbank).He discovered his Events and Home Décor and

design passion at his very young age during his school

times. He is also well experience cook, Self-made and

branded himself “The Food Engineer”/ “Chef on call”. He

has created a number of Signature dishes as well as Buffets

for numerous corporate and private events. Mr. Sabelo

Mbethe studied Cab designing at Style Design College in

KwaZulu-Natal, then Business and Events management at

Damelin Business College. He worked for Events companies

such as Décor design and events manager during the year

2006 to 2008 he then qualified himself as an expert in the

industry. 2012 the SMEGS Brand was founded. He is well

recognizing, a role model and a mentor to many young and

older individual. His future plans are to grow his events

managing and catering company in to a very large brand.

In 2013 he also pre launched his new brand named SMEGS

Café™ its concepts are to service from its unique basic

menu of Light and Heavy food. SMEGS Café aims to

designed classic and vintage style Restaurants, Bar that

will enhance the overall experience, Also focusing on

creating different image in the food industry by giving an

extraordinary feel that can cater for all classes such as

Mining industries canteen, Corporate cafeteria and

Signature designed restaurants to Wi-Fi business coffee

shops that may be found in all business areas all over the

country.
