We made this watering can out of recycling products and ornaments.

The container of watering can is made of detergent bottle.

The top part is made of normal plastic bottle that are often thrown away by people.

The container and the bottle is then painted and decorated to make it look attractive and people will feel happy to use things that looks cheerful.

We spent about RM4.35 for the things we used such as the glue and chalk.We used arcrylic paints such green and red colour which one of our members had it at home.In that way it helped us to save cost.

We decided to use detergent bottle and the plastic bottle as our main product because usually, these bottles are seldom recycled but will be thrown into rivers or be dumped by the road side and walkways.

The salient reasons on why we created this watering can, are:-

There are no watering cans in our school. Even if there were, our school gardeners do not utilize them.

Instead of using watering cans, they use hosepipes to water the plants. This act may give excessive water to the soil and kill the plant, since there isn’t any control to the water.

Secondly, we made this watering can because our school is more concerned about making things out of recycling materials and also recycling as much as we can.

Since our school is stressing a lot on that, we decided to come up with this watering can that causes no cents, yet can be very helpful to the society, if they take this into their hands as their own responsibility in keeping the plants healthy since we need plants to give out oxygen to beings.
