Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarms Save Lives.Oneinthreefiredeathshappeninhomeswithnoworkingsmokealarms.Andover65%ofallcarbonmonoxidedeathsandinjuriesoccurinthehome.Protecttheonesyoulove.

Install smoke alarmsoneverystoreyandoutsideallsleepingareasofyourhome.Foraddedprotection,installasmokealarmineverybedroom.

Install carbon monoxide alarmsoutsideallsleepingareasifyourhomehasafuel-burningappliance,fireplaceorattachedgarage.Foraddedprotection,installacarbonmonoxidealarmoneverystoreyofyourhome.

Test smoke and carbon monoxide alarms monthlybypressingthetestbutton.Ifthealarmdoesn’tsound,installanewbattery.Ifthealarmstilldoesn’tsound,replacethealarmwithanewone.

Replace alarm batteries at least once a yearandwheneverthelow-batterywarningchirps.
