IP network integration for each site

1. Server IP:

64 IPs. For example: 10.124.100.0 / 26 ,

Used for all Servers, host, controller…..etc. Huawei provide firewalls need 2 FE ports from customer side.

2. Sigtran IP:

16 IPs, for example, 10.124.103.0/28

Used for M3UA link between Huawei SMSC and MSC.

We suggest a separate VLAN. In this case, LAN switches for MSC should provide 2 physical FE ports to Huawei.

The flow is described as follows:

1) The MS submits an access request and possible authentication message to the VLR.

2) The MS submits an SM to the MSC.

3) The MSC forwards the SM to the USAU

STP is working between MSC and USAU for

translating the GT to the DPC/SSN of the SMSC

5) The USAU transfers the SM to the SMSC.

6) The SMSC sends an acknowledgement (success or error) back to the USAU

7) The USAU sends the acknowledgement back to the MSC.

8) The MSC sends the acknowledgement back to the MS.

The flow is described as follows:1) The SMSC submits the message transfer request to the USAU2) The USAU queries from the HLR about the routing information for sending.3) The USAU forwards the SM to the MSC. 4) The MSC queries from the VLR about the routing information for sending,and from the HLR gets back the international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI)of the subscriber and the number of the MSC where the current subscriber islocated.5) The MSC transfers the SM to the MS.6) The MS sends the acknowledgement back to the MSC.7) The MSC sends the forwarding report back to the USAU.8) The USAU sends the acknowledgement back to the SMSC.

STP is working between MSC/HLR and USAU for translating the GT to the DPC/SSN of the SMSC
