So – You want to learn how to put a BLOG article onto the state website. (Note: If you have not done so, you will need to review the web training provided by the webmaster. One
problem noted so far is that you must be in the 32 bit mode in Internet Explorer 9 if you are using IE9 in Windows 7 or a 64 bit computer. When you go to the webpage, you will be instructed to download JAVA 7. The current
Update is 13. JAVA takes about 3-5 minutes to completely install. Then you will be able to watch the Web training.
Please Continue to the next page.

Each offer has their own private blog area which can be found under the Navigation tab. While many can add articles, only the officers have blog and event categories available for their use.
TEK2013
If blog is selected, then you will start a blog screen that allows you to type in a TITLE and then enter the text of your article into the
large box.
TEK2013
When you are finished with your blog information, you can scroll down the screen until you find SAVE. After every entry or change,
you must use the save command.
TEK2013
Now that your have saved your material, the screen will automatically go back to the Front Page or Home screen. There you
will see your creation.
TEK2013
Note: While your entry is on the Home or Front Page, it will also be located under your officer’s tab on the right hand side under the
Navigation tab. This is automatically done when you use your own State Officer tab to create an article.

Sometimes you will need to change your blog entry. When this occurs, click on the new website.
TEK2013
When you click on the new website, you will be given a choice of either VIEW or EDIT. To change the blog, you need to click on edit.
TEK2013
Again, it is stressed that once a change is made, you must SAVE the change by clicking on the SAVE button at the
bottom of the page.
TEK2013
At a later date, when you blog is no longer needed, you will be able to delete it by again going to the new website and clicking on
the new website.
TEK2013
Once again, you will see the view and edit tabs under the new website. Click on the EDIT tab.
TEK2013
Now, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the tab that shows “Publish Options”.
TEK2013
