Quality Innovative Education in a
Caring Environment
Soccer Gala Day: On Friday13 September, we travelled to Wauchope to
participate in the Small Schools Soccer Gala Day. The students once again showed great sportsmanship and positive behavior.
Swimming: Our school’s Intensive Swimming Program will commence
on Monday 25 November and run for 10 days, through to Friday 6 December. Due to P&C sponsorship and Sporting Schools Grant money we have been able to keep the cost relativity low. The cost per child will be $55 and families are encouraged to start paying instalments at the beginning of Term 4, to help ease the burden of one lump sum at the end.
Koala Smart: The students
have been busy painting our koala for the Koala Smart Project. Our Koala will be collected day 1 next term, and judging held at Port Panthers on 24 October. The Koala Smart Project was designed to promote environmental awareness for the students and they have all enjoyed gathering interesting facts and information.

Assembly: Our award winners from yesterday’s assembly were: Felix, Brianna, Miles, Nicolas,
Callum, Layne, Angus, Lachlan, Saxon, Beren, Max, Khai, Alyia, Cameron, Kalin and Flynn who received the Principal’s award. Kalin, Khai and Cameron also received their highly anticipated pen licence.
Public Speaking: It was very pleasing to see so many of our parents and
grandparents and family members join us yesterday for public speaking. The students spoke about a wide variety of topics and all did an amazing job after the initial nerves wore off. The winners will be announced and trophies presented at the Christmas Tree on 13 December 2019.
Photography Competition: Just a reminder, this Sunday 29
September, the long awaited photography exhibition will held at the hall. All winners will be announced and prizes presented to the winners that are present. The calendar will be on display, minus the front cover, which will be the photo voted most popular by the public on the day. Orders will be taken for the calendar during the exhibition. The silent auction is already underway. People may bid online or before the auction. Some amazing prizes are up for grabs. Please remember, you are supporting your P&C and therefore, you are supporting your children.
Crazy Hair Day: Tomorrow will be out off uniform day and crazy hair day. Students are asked to
pay $ 2 to be out of uniform and 50c to have their hair sprayed with wash out coloured spray.
A Reminder: Please promptly pay all statements of account which were sent home last week.
