Training and Capacity Building
30-Days Residential Training has been completed for newly recruited
DRPs and SRPs from 1 Nov.to 30 Nov. 2017.
Two Days meeting has been organized at state level with all
stakeholders and Civil Society Organizations(CSOs) on “Social Audit
Implementation and Strategy of Bihar”.
In first phase- 4-days residential training of SHG-VRPs have
completed in 25 CFT Blocks of SRLM(Jeevika), Bihar.
Two days ToT of DRPs & SRP for SHG-VRP training with support
with SAU,Jharkhand.
1780 SHG-VRP and 557 male VRP (Total 2337) trained in ten
districts of 500 Panchayats. They will now conduct social audit of
MGNREGA, PMAY and PDS.
Stepping Towards Action
Social Audit and public hearing of MGNREGA completed in four Panchayats of Noorsarai block in Nalanda district during 30 days residential training
Social Audit and public hearing as pilot of PDS completed in two Panchayats of Siwan and Arwal district.
Social audit calendar has to be finalized for this financial year 2017-18, 290 GPs would be covered as in two phase of Social Audit of MGNREGA, PDS and PMAY (financial year 2016-17 and 2017-18).

1. Every district has to provide the list of 10 panchayats where social audit
has to be done in financial year 2018-19.
2. 300 panchayats selected for social audit of MGNREGA and PMAY. 290
panchayats cover in two Phase.
These are following important points before social audit :
