OVERVIEW:

Mobile Phones Direct appointed NUKO to work with them to create a Facebook competition to promote the launch of the new iPhone and to increase likes on their Facebook page and followers on Twitter.

NUKO created a Facebook application, email marketing campaign and individual creative elements for use on Mobile Phones Direct’s Facebook wall.

ImpACT WIThIn 24 hOURS:

• Increased Facebook fan base from 21 to 1,800 (8,520% increase)

• Increased Twitter followers from 27 to 664 (2,360% increase)

• 1,043 data captured with 500 entries submitting additional personal data that wasn’t required for competition entry

• Greater brand engagement and reach across Facebook and Twitter

OVERVIEW:

SWAG is a prominent London-based jeweller with six stores in the metropolitan area and 15 Pandora branded stores elsewhere across the UK. With an already strong following on Facebook and Twitter, SWAG asked NUKO to conduct a listening exercise around its popular products.

ImpACT:

• Identified a new online audience for SWAG as well as key forums, blogs and contacts to engage

• Discovered key ambassadors around popular brands such as Trollbeads

• PPC campaign which increased the CTR from 1.12 per cent to 5.57 per cent

OVERVIEW:

Already a well-known housing developer, Linden Homes asked NUKO to conduct a listening exercise to uncover what types of conversations were happening online around its brands and how they compared to its top five competitors.

ImpACT & AppROACh:

• Identified that two of its competitors have a strong presence on social networks

• Video content is important for this market but predominantly supplied by estate agents

• Identified influential Twitter accounts that support the Linden Homes brand

• Established community involvement is light with a heavy steer towards sales messages

• Demonstrated that publishing a PR story alone is not enough to engage the social networks

OVERVIEW:

A2 Dominion is the company behind North West Bicester, one of the UK’s first designated eco towns. It is a flagship project in its industry so A2 Dominion appointed NUKO to ensure it makes the most of its digital channels, including how to get started on social media networks.

• Conducted a listening exercise to understand how talked about A2 Dominion was as a brand

• Developed a social media strategy for launching the brand on Twitter

• Developed key messaging to use across the different channels, including online

• Developed a new look and feel for its website, including Twitter integration

OVERVIEW:

Free Betting Online had already set up a Facebook and Twitter account but needed direction on how to engage with its online audience and drive traffic to its website. As a starting point, NUKO provided a listening exercise to better understand the audience.

ImpACT & AppROACh:

• Discovered that females were a core audience for the brand; an audience they had previously ignored

• Tailored the language of the copy across all platforms to promote the personality of the brand

• Created new visuals to use across Facebook and Twitter

• Developed a custom tab for their Facebook page to allow users to register for updates and read the latest sporting news

• Developed social media-based campaigns to target the key audience

OVERVIEW:

Sight Care is a membership organisation for independent opticians, with approximately 700 members across the UK. Sight Care approached Remarkable to raise awareness of local opticians among consumers, encourage new members to join and provide marketing support for members.

AppROACh:

• Developed a consumer-facing campaign called ‘Eye Love My Local Independent Optician’

• Listening exercise to establish best social network to develop the campaign on

• Campaign developed across web, traditional PR, direct mail and social networks

• 28.6 million people reached through these channels

• Developed new relationships with key media, consumers and industry bodies directly through Eye Love My Local Independent Optician’s Twitter presence

• Sight Care now has heightened brand awareness among various stakeholders and consumers, which has boosted bottom line enquiries and sales for members

• The campaign was so successful that Sight Care signed up to extend it for another year
