What are Societal Pressures?Societal Pressures are the combined pressures that are around you during everyday life such as Socioeconomic Pressure , Pressure to perform and Body image pressures. These are some of the pressures girls and women are familiar with.
You may think that you have complete control over these pressures but when a situation arise your ideas may not be as clear as they are at another time. Social Pressures can be confusing and stressful.
The media plays a large part in forming our thoughts, body and self image.

culture phenomenon. Look anywhere: television, magazines, billboards, etc. They all show us unrealistic representations that really can and do cause real women, young and old, to feel inferior and imperfect in society. This can lead to feelings of depression, eating disorders and feelings of never measuring up.

idolizing an unrealistic woman and might make the real women look dull in comparison.
Women in this game, at least the central character, Laura Croft, is an unattainable ideal and that is, in itself, a very damaging notion for both genders.
