Katherine (Kay) Lemon holds the Accenture Professorship and is a Professor of Marketing in the Carroll School of Management. Professor Lemon’s main areas of research expertise are customer management, customer equity, and the dynamics of customer-firm relationships. Her research appears in leading marketing journals including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, Management Science, and the Journal of Service Research. .
Professor Lemon is the incoming editor for the Journal of Service Research effective June 2009. She also serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Relationship Marketing, and Service Business: an International Journal.
She has authored three books: Customer Equity Management: Marketing Strategy for Profitable Customer Relationships (with Rust and Narayandas), Wireless Rules: New Marketing Strategies for Customer Relation-ship Management Anytime, Anywhere (with Newell), and Driving Customer Equity: How Customer Lifetime Value Is Reshaping Corporate Strategy (with Rust and Zeithaml) which received the first annual American Marketing Association Foundation AMA-Berry Book Prize recognizing the top marketing work for innovative ideas and overall impact on marketing and related fields.
Professor Lemon serves on the Board of Directors of the American Marketing Association and also served on the Academic Council of the AMA. She is an Academic Fellow for the Center for Services Leadership, and serves on several industry advisory boards. She is a member of the Provost Advisory Council at Boston College. Professor Lemon received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. She received a B.A. from Colorado College and an MBA from Wichita State University.

About Lionel Sosa
Lionel Sosa is an independent marketing consultant, and nationally recognized portrait artist. He is the founder of Sosa, Bromley, Aguilar & Associates, now Bromley Communications, the largest Hispanic advertising agency in the U.S. He is an acknowledged expert in Hispanic consumer and voter behavior.
Lionel was named “One of the 25 most influential Hispanics in America” by Time Magazine in 2005 and is a member of the Texas Business Hall of Fame. He is the author of Think and Grow Rich, a Latino Choice published in 2006 by Random House, and The Americano Dream: How Latinos Can Achieve Success in Business and in Life, published in 1998 by Dutton and co-author of “El Vaquero Real- the Original American Cowboy” published by Bright Sky Press in 2008.
He has been media consultant for Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush and is now co-chairman of the John McCain advertising committee. Sosa has served as media consultant in seven national presidential races.
Currently, Sosa serves on the board of directors of QuePasa.com, the largest bi-lingual online community in the country as well as SiTV, the leading 24/7 cable television channel in English targeted to Latinos. Lionel has served on the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System, the Board of Trustees for the University of the Incarnate Word, the Boards of Sesame Workshop, creators of Sesame Street, ACT (American College Testing) and PBS, the Public Broadcasting System. He chaired both the United Way of San Antonio and the San Antonio Symphony and was Executive Director for the grass roots foundation, Mexicans and Americans Thinking Together.
In the spring of 2001, Lionel was a Fellow at the Institute of Politics at Harvard University. He was awarded an honorary PHD in Humanities from the University of the Incarnate Word.
