    Typically the objectives of such induction trainingprograms are:

    Enhancing the knowledge of the programmers in the

    languages they already know. Training them on other languages and platforms thatthey do not know.

    Providing them an overview of some of the importanttechnologies, analysis and design methodologies,

    testing methodologies, etc. Training them on the programming standards, etc. of

    the organization.
