In this paper, it has been focusing on air-

conditioning, heating, drying with using electrical energy

that produced by the developed design of Solarux system

cheaply.

The aim of this invention is to use planar mirrors instead

of parabolic mirrors and to replace the disadvantages of

mirror system and to get the advantage for manufacturing

and stability in the terms of engineering.

Solar power tower, also

known as central tower power

plants or heliostat power

plants is a type of solar

furnace using a tower to

receive focused sun light.

beams to a receiver where

The invention is based on a dish mirror system which

includes planar mirrors that reflect sun light to an absorber

(heat-exchanger) in order to produce heat energy in high

temperatures.

The New DesignLower Tower - Experiment

The flexural tests are carried out

by using three point bending

specimens and the flexural

property was determined

according to ASTM D790 with the

specimen dimensions of 42 mm

diameter, support span of 160

mm and crosshead speed of 0.5

mm/min. The Flexural test using three point

As a result of these experiments it

is obtained that the specimen 4

shown in Figure 4 has the

highest-strength when compared

with others since the cement and

glass fiber filaments are

distributed more homogeneously

and especially fiber effective on

the strength.

In old design, the amount of

mirrors are 96 pieces with

4m dish diameter.

In new design, the amount

of mirrors are 150 pieces

with 5m dish diameter. (6m

with photovoltaics)

What’s New Comparison-Mirrors

In old design, mirrors are

bonded to grippers.This

procedure may cause the loss

of mirror because of adhesive

problem

In new design, mirrors can be

connected by using skrewed

rivet at the center and washer

at the mirror edges to the

gripper

What’s New Comparison-Pipe Route

In the old system main pipe

which is connected with

exchanger passed into a mirror

because of the plate which

holds the mirror grippers.

In the new design , the plate is

removed and replaced with skrewed

rivet elements.So main pipe can

pass from the center of the dish.By

making this replacement , the

fracture of a mirror is prevented.

What’s New Comparison – Vertical Movement Shafts

In the old system there was

only two shaft that helps to

move dish up and down.

In the new design there is

four shafts in order to

prevent the system from

buckling caused by wind.

What’s New Comparison – Mirror Grippers

In the old system these

grippers were designed as an L

beams and a supporter rod.In

addition, there was a lot of

pieces of connection parts in

order to hold mirrors.

In new design dish gripper is

constructed as some kind of

profiles and also designed

for acting as a route for

cleaning system.

Old grippers were designed

as on L profile beams and a

supporter rod.

In new design, instead of L

profile; we have rectangular

profiles which has less weight

than the old one.

In old design, upper tower has

a circular shape and just like

planes, there is a weight

problem.

In new design, upper tower

has three floor and the weight

problem is solved by using

sheets in each floor.

• Solar flat mirror is a renewable system which based on sun light and it’s

reflection

• System can provide and store a valuable energy and use it whenever you

want.

• The electrical energy can be provided without pollution and it can be

used even at night

• This system also can be used for agricultural heating process and drying

process.

• It will contribute to the country's economy and also has the scientific

application capability, manufacturability and in addition, it can be highly

desirable in terms of sensitivity to the environment

• Have good financial results, the good construction, performance, work

place or home budget, environmental cleanliness, cleanliness of the

system itself, and in many respects quite good security features and

efficiency

• The only disadvantage of Solarux CSP is the efficiency of the system

varies depending on region. Because the incident angle of the sun

coming around the world is crucial.
