The Month of June
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus
The month of June is dedicated to the Most
Sacred Heart of Jesus. Although the devotion
has been recognized for many centuries, it
was the 17th century nun Saint Margaret Mary
Alacoque who made the devotion to the
Sacred Heart of Jesus best known, after a
series of visions in which He revealed His
desire to her that we be brought to know of
His tremendous love for us.
Pope Leo XIII consecrated the entire world to
the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 9, 1899.

The Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is a moving way to express devotion to Our Lord by
making reparation for offenses committed against His Sacred Heart. Find the Litany here.
Introducing our guests
Guardian Angels has been blessed to be able
to host two Seminarians from the
Redemptoris Mater Seminary of Toronto.
Francesco and Mirko have been a big help
around the parish, helping out with the grass
cutting, gardening and other practical
matters, but also spiritually. The Seminarians
together with Fr. Silvio recently made a
pilgrimage to Teopoli in Gravenhurst via
bicycle as an offering to the parishioners in
our family of churches. They are continuing to
offer prayers for our parish community. Let's
offer our prayers for them as well!
St. Francis Prayer Garden
We are pleased to announce that we have a
new garden going in on the grounds of
Guardian Angels Church! We would like to
recognize the outstanding stewardship of
Joanne Walsh in spearheading this project for
the benefit of all parishioners. Thank you to
our generous donors for the beautiful plants
and statuary, and also to the Seminarians for
their hard work. Another pair of helping hands are welcomed. Please contact the office if you
would like to join!
