Green indoor climate by natureMore and more guests ask for allergy-free “green rooms”. It works to perfection under Junckers floors because, unlike tiles and stone, solid wood is naturally warm whether or not the heating is on. People thrive on solid wooden floors

Solid wood underfoot is a sensual pleasure. Pleasing to the eye, and naturally supple

and warm to the touch. It adds homey texture to a room, yet is very easy to care for and clean. Even after the smell of cut

wood has worn off, the air remains fresher. The temperature stays even due to the

natural heat retention of wood. The humidity is in balance due to the pervious quality of

wood. And, unlike carpeting and laminated floors, static electricity is minimised due to the non-conducting composition of wood.

Walking across solid wood produces a pleasantly subdued sound, and noise travelling

between floors is naturally reduced by the innate molecular makeup of hardwood. Beyond that,

Junckers floors provide excellent opportunities for controlling the sound environment efficiently

from the bottom up by fitting in sound insulation at the point of installation. We will be pleased

are produced in self-bearing thicknesses, while an extra thin 15 mm board enables seamless transitions to tiled or carpeted areas.
