Hello everybody. I have good news. The airport has decided to have its Airport Day and has asked us to be a part of it with our car show. I am happy to report that many members have volunteered to be a part of the car show committee. We had our first meeting on Tuesday, April 5th and I can report with certainty that it will be a great car show. We had a great Easter week. Our daughter, who lives in Arkansas, called on Saturday the week before Easter to see if we were going to be home and, if so, could she could come to visit. Yes, we were going to be home and for sure come. She packed Sunday, started driving Monday and arrived Tuesday afternoon. When we visit her it’s many days getting ready and a three day trip. We were so happy to see her. She was able to stay almost a week. I hope all of you had a good Easter/Spring Break too. Recently, several of our members volunteered to do some work (ugh), but it was great fun. It was our periodic highway cleanup day. We had enough people that we could each take a reasonable stretch of the Club’s assigned highway section and we got our highway spic-and-span in no time at all. It’s a good feeling to help keep our countryside looking so beautiful. Afterwards, we were treated to a lunch by the club. Next time Phil Wadsack asks for volunteers, sign up if you are able to do it. Happy motoring in your “funny olde cars”.

Hello everybody. I have good news. The airport has decided to have its

Airport Day and has asked us to be a part of it with our car show. I am happy

to report that many members have volunteered to be a part of the car show

committee. We had our first meeting on Tuesday, April 5th and I can report

We had a great Easter week. Our daughter, who lives in Arkansas, called on

Saturday the week before Easter to see if we were going to be home and, if

so, could she could come to visit. Yes, we were going to be home and for sure

come. She packed Sunday, started driving Monday and arrived Tuesday

afternoon. When we visit her it’s many days getting ready and a three day

trip. We were so happy to see her. She was able to stay almost a week. I

hope all of you had a good Easter/Spring Break too.

at the Sedona Elks Lodge The lodge will be hosting a fun cruise in on the third Wednesday of each month from 5:00 to 7:00 in the Elks Lodge parking lot at 110 Airport Road, Sedona. The Lodge will be serving tacos and good quality grilled hot dogs on the patio. Beverages will be available in the lounge. This is being done to provide car owners an op-portunity to show off their fine rides just for the fun of it and for the comradery. Seems too many great looking rides spend a lot of time in garages when showing them off and driv-ing them is why you built them. So bring it out! The Elks will have a page on Facebook. Look for Se-dona Elks (or visit www.sedonaelks.org) cruise to check the dates and photos from recent cruise nights.
