SONAR was established in 1977 by Muzaffer Çevik, with specialization in "drilling" and "engineering geology", which was followed by the establishment of "grouting" and "water well drilling" departments. In 1993, "geotechnical engineering" branch of civil engineering discipline became the main field of activity. With 33 years of experience, SONAR has become a national leader in the field of geotechnical engineering.

SONAR is currently engaged in contracting activities with a geographical emphasis on Turkey, Middle East and Eurasian countries.

In this special method, which is executed by

Diaphragm Walls, the retaining walls are

designed as the basement walls of the structure.

Excavation is done level by level after

constructing the structural slabs of the respective

floor.

Time Saving Advantages: Basement & Upper floor construction may continue at the same time! Climatic Conditions are eliminated in lower floors.

Money Saving Advantages: Retaining wall becomes the permanent walls of the main structure. Anchors are not necessary, slabs functions as struts.
