Marion, April 28th, hosted by the Fickes’ and Gieck’s, who are providing leg of lamb with special mint sauce made with several kinds of homegrown mint, infused with wine as well as fresh roasted turkey breast. Please bring a dish to share: vegetables, sides, salads, desserts, etc. Tom Goss, our resident chef is providing Mac & Cheese; asparagus is on the menu. Welcome for Rev. Randy Haycock May 5th. The festive coffee hours continue with a welcome reception for Randy Haycock, on Sunday May 5th. It will be our normal pot luck, with the church providing Michie Tavern fried chicken, a sheet cake and fruit punch. Please bring a side dish to share in the best tradition of St. Luke’s hospitality…and let’s all wear our name tags. If you wish to volunteer to help with clean up, please let Lou Lamb or Joann Rawls know. Table Toppers I had made 10 white table-toppers to protect some of the table cloths ] and I am missing 4-5. If you took one home to wash it, please return it and I will take care of the ironing. Also, We are in the process of re-organizing the storage cabinet and I will be creating an up-to-date inventory list.
