the secret fountain

there are two fountains

that give me drink

one is shared and every sip takentoo is given to my brother

ten times over

there is another fountain

in which I can drink

in the shady hidden part of my mind

where I want to believe

no one can see

now I know it tells me lies

but even still do I sometimes find myself

tempted to want to believe

I could be separate

from that which Is me

let me be clear with myself

the Word is the voice

of an idea which springs from the Creatorof all things

first given to my mind to simply choose

from where I would drink

let me use my mind correctly

and let me use my Words in following

for words heard and shared

become real as they are connected

to Truth

let me be clear as no longer

can I even fake joy this shady fountain

can quench my thirst

let us walk forward in our minds

let us speak forward in our voices

we are ready not just for some healing

but full restoration

we will not attempt govern what we do not knowas we only know how far we have come,

blessed do we look back on yesterday

though we are a little hesitant

may we use our words to remind our brother

we are not alone

and the fountain of peace awaits

for every one of us restored

too would restore our brother

I have a friend in Houston

and she thanked me for

a song today

I wish she could see the boost

of encouragement and light

her words brought to my day

our prayers are the wind

that carry our brother's passage

our words are the fuel

our actions are the reminder

that we do not stand alone

what we cannot see with our eyes

is the infusion of the Holy Spirit

spreading like wildfire between

those who give and receive

in the mind of Christ

we all have a friend in Houston

each more worthy of our greatest blessingsthan we could ever know

may God direct our prayers

our thoughts and our words of light

as we lift each other unto love

even when darkness is at hand

for in truth all things

even those lacking the will of Christcan be seen as a plant thirsting for water

and our joy comes from giving water

especially when one is used to receiving only dirt

together we have a friend in Christ

and unto the world do we bless

may we be the blessing our brothers seek

and fear not the sometimes difficult work

to release our fear and offer

more and more giving our mind

unto the will of Christ

on perfection and grievances

the attempt to stop all thoughts

of attack from the mind

feels futile in the beginning

like cockroaches they will creep out

and attempt to block the sun shining

on our own heart and too

of our brother

the next time would our mind

will to attack a beautiful seed

planted and striving to shine

may we remember how many have stood

in its light already

for every child on this world has known

this pain

may we most of all stop harming ourselves

let us be gentle and remove no light

but accept the will of our Christas we are nurtured with Him to love

next time

may the next time we notice ourselves

shading a beautiful seed

let us turn the error into nothing short

of a blessing

in our minds may we immediatelypray and heal that which we shaded

and remember in this way we can be perfect

with a small error we offer ten blessings

with restoration do we remain lights of the world

we were not asked to be perfect

but to hold no grievances

upon our gentle self

or brother.

the healing session

there is no place or time

in all of creation in which

darkness cannot be replacedby light

not one speck of grief

held against another brother

could prevented from becoming

into a blessing of peace

if these words that follow

bring tears of joyous release,we would only accept and say

Amen

suffocating a world of separation

and return by that which is greater

to our rightful Home in Christ

now setting the captives free

may today be a chance to heal

and not to believe our own ego's lie,

that we are not worthy,

of being needed

and so we ask

where would You have me go

what would You have me say,

learn, see, hear...

all things unto You

for this is my peace

and joy

Amen and with love in Christ

but something bursting inside

he cannot but give

he does not want you to listen

he wants you to singand longs for your

beautiful song

a day of release

today I ask a simple thing

let me be a warrior

and protect what I hold dear

let me not use my mind for attack

and notice when it wishes to condemn

both my brother

and myself

instead may my mind be used

for that of your Holy purpose

not to tearbut to heal

may my feet not lead me astray

but to where you would have me go

may you stand along my side

as I attempt to not poison my body

with things of man that disable

health and mind

if I could say these things I have been

able to do alone I would be lying

and so this simple prayer

make me a warrior

one who keeps my people safe

yet first let me learn

to not attack myself

no longer would just a light be enough

shine through me,

with me, above me, beside me,

beyond me, and through me,

and with no more words I would say

a friend among us

it is a powerful moment when we remember the truth

of why we are here

and the reason would fall nowhere shortof changing the world

that it would be more free

more loving and more conscious

and we gladly play whatever seemingly

small or large part Christ would use us in

Our eyes can see very little

and we have accepted one who sees moreand we are willing to be used for this purpose

unto healing and love

every organism has its parts

that make the whole

so easily does man not understand

where we stand in relation to the body of the earth

all things stand as both a part and as a whole

most of all let us be the ones

who remember the Holy purpose of our brother

even when they have forgotten what it is

in our finest moments we could never correctly estimate

the value of anothers gift

thus is the power of Light and Love

one plus one is not two but more

we will be a friend among the world

we will refuse to see a brother for less

than Christ would see them to be

an we will not attack ourselves for just one day

so we may be freed of self-impositions and fear

A moment of happiness

let happy be seen

as it is

the waves bring beautiful shells

to the shores of our feet

and smile we do

and may sadness be seen

too as the same wave taking

its shells back to the sea

for they were not meant for us

to hold forever, anyway

as we smile

as we frown

through the waves

let us not be defined by these moments of waves

but let our hearts rest deep

in the ocean

in peace

unshaken by trinkets

would we remain in the great stillness

of the truth beyond the surface

let us be the reminders

for any brother tired

of trading shells to seek

what cannot be foundamong waves

looking up from down

from strength to weakness

I lie for many moments waiting for return

and I ask for help

I ask for help and I could see

these words meant

to be written

why would I need to only share

when the wind sails through my lips

for that would be

a lie

I am meant to speak the truth

when the night is still and

tomorrow does not come soon enough

equally

when we are beaten is when we shine

I begin to feel tears

we are the warriors refusing

to retreat forever into a the night

we have lost to many times

and hid among alcohol and all forms of temporary aid

attempting to numb the calling

but numb it we did not

for we have accepted the callingand accepted no longer

can we hide

the bravest warrior you ever saw

was the one you will see tonight in the mirror

when the world was quiet and noticed you not

and the wind did not speak a word to your heart

yet it was you who refused

to give less than you could

and so you waited one more nightone more minute

as all of time is just one more something

for the warm breeze to return

Rome was not built in a day

but it could be destroyed in one

is what we are not reminded

stay strong my warrior

stay strong for the return

and the wind you shall hear

soon enough

reclaiming shadows to shine

when a being does not know what they are

they walk alone and afraid

and fears build in that being's selfon every layer and level it carries

even a smallest fragment of thought

would we recognize as simply incorrect

cannot be lit by the sun for it hides in the shadow

to understand humans we simply remember our own past

the fear of being abandoned as a child

unloved and unacceptedthe fear of being laughed

not fast enough, not smart enough

these fears hid within our being

taking precious space and energy from how brightly

we may shine

we the seekers of truth

would leave no space untilledand accept the truth as our love wills

us to give more to our brothers

and ourselves

one day

we may remember a most painful thing

a moment in time beyond what we know to be as time itself

as today we blame the worldand what we do not have on our misgivings

in this dream we may see the moment

we turned our back on our brother

we can see his face as we shamefully crept into the shadows

In this face is how we may see Christ,

for we are all as one

we still see our brother's arm extending

and tear falling for our return

but we did not,

and darkness did we find for a very long time

the time has come

our brother has returned

Christ stands to reclaim what is His

and thankfully may we be restored

bit by bit our memory returns

our Father needs his children whole

restored fully in their mind and heart

with not one fear remaining to distort

the brave one's most willing

filled with love return to full rebirth

where they may be used unto strength

to change and to heal the world

it would be an error to believe

anything short of this would be God's plan

and the degree we can be used

is measured by the amount we are healed

as the space we hold but increases

do not be afraid to tell the truth

do not be afraid to admit

why you have come

you are not alone but with many

and those who stand with you do not need

a body or a phone to be your friend in God

today let us be willing

to have been mistaken

and be healed

an old memory

one day on a long walk

I became angry

I blamed the snowand blamed the cold

I had no home

and fault was spread

that this earth holds enough

for all of its creatures

had slipped my vision

and narrowly made my path in the snow

to suit my anger

but one day I came upon

something in my mind that was so strange

it would require explanation

it was an old agreement

made with a part of myself

like the great Oz standing behind the curtain

of my mind

I was not supposed to look for it

but found what I was once most afraid to see

what I was in the hidden parts

what was dark and ugly and frightening

turned into a small child crying

though it was not ready

for my comfort

the ego was a ferocious thing

but most fragile of all I have come upon

no part of a man will leave

so it will remain yet can change slowly

as we have our highest

do we have our lowest

let us will to fearlessly see

what is inside so no longerwould we be afraid of our own

mind

The Old Indian Dude smiles with you

My son I remember so many years ago

you with your big paper pad

and pen with many colors

you would ask me a question in one color

and write down what it said in another

still just a boy at the time

yes we have walked many miles now

tonight when you reached for me

I smiled with your heart again

I have watched you from afarand gladly stand by your side for this writing

I have never told you my name

and may never will

I smile still because you have always called me

"the old Indian dude"

and that is how I know your call

many years ago I rememberyou were seeking your eyes

behind your eyes

and now the time has come

and you are ready to look again

I can still remember your shock when those beings

of light and great beauty

fell to darkness before your eyes when you searched them for truthas love was not what they held dear

but lies

my son we know each other by how we feel

to one another

I have told you small untruths from time to time

to see if you were able to catch them

all beings are capable of error

or at least being misunderstood

you still remember the day after 36 yearsof being not ready to share your words

when it changed

it was not because you could not be in error

but because your heart was strong and spoke

as a reminder of your Home

and the Laws of what gives life to all

and stand eternally true

As you open your eyes

you may see many things

some of which would bring hate

to a heavy heart

let no man's lies fall upon your heart

but repel them with your awareness

let no man's hate or darkness

turn you from the breath that would heal

most of all remember

I am only one of countless

who stand by you and all who walk with Love

both the seen and unseen

allies through the warm summer days

and cold winter nights

I am one more brother with you

and I am proud of how far you have come

your Friend, the old Indian Dude

who smiles with you
