I am half French half Spanish and have lived in the UK for 12 years. I am a self-starter and put my all into everything that I do, create or design. I am a creative by nature, and relentless about meeting clients’ needs and expectations. I grew up in the world of construction, property and design – it is in my blood. My grandfather was a builder who also developed new formulas for tile adhesives and set-up a bathroom and kitchen design family business.

I pursued a career in risk management and strategy in financial services. You would think that I fell quite far from the tree, but these two worlds are not that far apart. For me, design is all about understanding your client and finding the solutions to meet their needs, whether these are wellbeing, health, space, adding value, safety or making a space unique and different. Bringing interest and eccentricity to a space is what I seek to deliver across my projects. I have always been attracted to architecture and admire the works that combine architecture, interior design and engineering to develop statement buildings and architectural focal points in a space. This is why I particularly loved our final project as we were given creative freedom where I designed a glass and timber ceiling feature to connect different parts of the space. It excites me to combine innovative thinking with the practical needs of a client and offer a solution that works, regardless of budget or other constraints. I had to put this into practice when undertaking the refurbishment of my own home where space and budget were some of the constraints. Where able to see the bigger picture, I can explore any level of detail, which proved critical for our third project, the joinery detailing. I really enjoyed intricately dissecting every single element of the construction process and rebuilding it into a workable and interesting result, or for the Dyson exhibition stand where I had to sharply ramp up in lighting and interactive technologies.

When asked what inspires me, it’s honestly everything! I seek inspiration anywhere, whether this be in particular spaces, through nature and culture, or in conversations with relatives and friends. Keep your eyes and ears open.

Designers can really make a difference to how people live and work and this is what I truly want to be a part of.

The BriefDevelop a design proposal that reflects a consistently changing line-up of experiences.

The ConceptThe Concept for the design is “Unexpected Fusion” implemented with Deconsctructivism.

The Design ProposalThe design is executed through deconstructivism that has been implemented through deconstructed mirrored glass ceiling structure and throughout the design. The key features of the design are: - A place that triggers and brings different

encounters together - flexible and varied seating, allowance for online workshops.

- Different feelings in dedicated spaces - distinct decors matching the feel to be triggered in each area.

- Unleash the essence - architecturally and commercially (selling the Chef’s of the moment special ingredients at the end of dinner).

Commercial grade and sustainable materials are used to reflect Carousel’s branding. The design has been developed to be inclusive and in line with Part B, K and M Building Regulations.

The BriefNeurokinex is a charity that offers personalised neurological rehabilitation for various forms of paralysis. Propose creative but budget-conscious design for the teenagers rehabilitation space that responds to the needs of staff and visitors and creatively communicates and represents the needs, values and aspirations of the clients.

The ConceptThe Concept for the design is “Elevate”

The Design ProposalThe design delivers a space that provides a range of treatments to meet every teenager’s needs and conditions. The mood is meant to feel light, yet dynamic, and transpose support and independence. Normalising the space and targeting a young audience regardless of their impairments became the priority.

In response to the client’s request to create a ‘bright space’ with a ‘mature rainbow scheme’, a vibrant and fresh approach to colours has been decided. With some impairments being more responsive to colour over text, it was proposed that graphic symbols should be incorporated into a wayfinding system.

The BriefA visible and powerful presence that reflects the Brand Identity. The brief for this Commercial project was to design an island exhibition stand for Dyson.

The ConceptThe Concept for this design is “Catalyst”.

The Design ProposalShow the unseen, inspired by Dyson Pure Cool fan blades: - The brand’s catalyst position would be reaffirmed

through the overall design and designed experiences on stand.

- The unseen would be materially revealed through Augmented Reality when placing smart devices in front of the installations.

Innovative materials such as Fabricoil have been used for an industrial style.

The experiences are materialised through features such as Fibre Optic installation and polyurethane spheres filled with Helium pre-programmed to react to level of crowding.

The design has been developed to be inclusive and in line with Part M Building Regulations.
