    This document is the third in a series of City of SeattleEarly Design Guidance (EDG) submittals made in referenceto a proposed arena to be located within the StadiumDistrict. Building upon the analysis, synthesis, and design

    direction established in the first two EDG submittals, thegeneral intent of this document is to respond to the DesignGuidelines established for the project during the EDG 2review and to further investigate the architectural characterfor the building.

    Reiterating the focus from EDG 2, the project vision is tocreate an arena that reinforces linkages to downtown andinvigorates its surroundings by reinforcing the existing cityfabric and providing a destination, gathering place, andbecome a vital contributor to Seattles vibrant culture.
