Program in Detail The purpose of the Sophomore Professional Conference is to support sophomore students in the process of formulating their personal and professional pathway. Additionally, the conference informs students of the Kelley Professionalism Code and helps them implement it into their own values. The theme for the 2014 Sophomore Professional Conference is The Future is Today. This year’s conference will focus on helping students make important decisions that will affect their future business careers. Conference sponsors are invited to present one session during the conference as well as host an Expo table. Additionally, Kelley faculty, staff, and students were invited to submit proposals to be included in the 2014 conference. Proposals were selected from the following criteria:

Fit with goals of conference Originality Relevance to overall conference theme and conference goals Appropriate use of interactive teaching strategies and useful

resources Overall value for student audience

All conference presentations will meet at least one of the following goals, and will be noted in the session description:

Career preparation Academic Success Personal and Professional Development Team Membership and Leadership

At the end of each session, conference attendees will have the opportunity to provide feedback to the presenter(s).
