Amor Solo Amor The art and popular songs from Spain, Mexico, and Nicaragua, included in this program reflect the stages of a woman’s life touched by manifestations of different kinds of love-romantic love (e.g., “Del cabello más sutil”, “Noche serena”, “Pregúntale a las estrellas”, “La mi sola, Laureola”, etc. -its joys and torments, sexual love (e.g., “El vito”), marriage (“Chiquitita la novia”), motherhood and children (the “nana”), death (“La llorona”). Soprano GEORGINA GATTO, a luminescent, beautiful, and wonderfully talented singer with an elegant and dramatic stage presence, is known for her extraordinary breadth of musical repertoire and composers, ranging from classical to contemporary, from European to American, from bel canto to Broadway. Currently, Georgina Gatto, resides in the Cayman Islands with her husband Dr. Howard Deosaran, founder and medical director of Trincay Medical Centre and Urgent Care, and their children Lili, the twins Blaise and Chloe, and Christian. At the same time, she continues to perform in recitals in the United States and in Europe, accompanied by Ms. Judith Gabos of Eger, Hungary.
