Croda has established new product naming conventions based on logical, unctional categorisation o our ingredients, whilst also including

additional product inormation in the orm o user-riendly sufxes. The sufxes, to be included on all order and delivery documentation, give

clear visibility o the product physical orm and site o manuacture. For example:

Crill™ 1 becomes Span™ 20-LQ-(SG)Span™ = Tradename

20 = Chemical Description (Sorbitan Laurate 20)

LQ = Physical Form Sufx (Liquid)

SG = Plant Sufx (Croda Singapore)

The new product names (without sufxes) or Croda’s range o sorbitan esters are attached. Please use these as reerence guides when

placing new orders or requesting urther inormation rom your local Croda Sales Representatives.

Physical Form Sufx

Croda’s new naming conventions give visibility to the product

physical orm. The physical orm indicator has been fxed as

applicable at 25°C. The physical orm sufxes are as ollows:

BE - Beads

FL - Flakes

LQ - Liquid

MB - Micro Beads

NO - Noodles

PA - Pastilles

PS - Paste

PW - Powder

SO - Solid

SS - Semi Solid

Plant Sufx

 A sufx will be used on delivery and order documentation to

distinguish between products which, through the tradename

consolidation process, are given the same tradename. The sufx

relates to the site o manuacture and will provide a degree o

transparency to our customers. The plant sufxes are as ollows:

 AP - Atlas Point, USA

BM - Bromborough, UK 

BR - Croda Brasil

CK - Cikarang, Indonesia

CQ - Chocques, France

CR - Cremona, Italy

EM - Emmerich, Germany
