The Yamba and Naiad team really enjoyed the company of the Marine Rescue volunteers on our stand at the Sydney Boat Show. We were so impressed with the friendly and willing attitude of the volunteers and it was a real pleasure to work with you all! At the show we had the new Marine Rescue Crowdy Harring-ton boat on the stand along with a smaller NSW Fisheries boat.

The Crowdy Harrington boat is the first of the 9.5m wide boats, and like the 10m wide boat we are very pleased with the handling and performance of the wider version of the 9.5m. The second wide 9.5m is well underway at the Yamba factory.

As with all recent Naiads for Marine Rescue NSW, the 9.5m wide boats have foam inside the pontoons, for literally “bullet-proof” reliability.

In New Zealand the Naiad team are about to launch a 9.5m Coastguard boat powered by a Scania 750hp driving a Hamilton Jet 364 drive. This boat is for the Howick Coastguard unit which is one of the busiest units in the country. They love their Naiads - this is the fifth Naiad we’ve built for them!
