The Vatican Museums house some of the world’s most precious works of art. These are on display in the many palaces which comprise the museums of the Vatican and date from the days of ancient Egypt through the Renaissance. Your three-hour visit is hosted by a a local guide who will escort you through the various sections of the museums. Highlights of your visit will include the paintings of Raphael, the Gallery of Maps, the Gallery of Tapestries, and the ceiling fresco of Michelangelo. No trip to Rome would be complete without seeing the Vatican Museums and, of course a visit to the Sistine Chapel. Price includes the use of head-phones inside the museum.
