Desc ription Applications
The CAB range of acoustically lined cabinetfans are speci f ical ly des igned to provideextract ventilation solutions for noise sensitive
environments. The range c omprise s o f sixnominal sizes. All models incorporate singlephase, 230V 50Hz, direct-drive low pressurecentrifugal fans available in two (2) or four (4)pole speeds .All models are supplied with a remote moun-ting wiring outlet box to facilitate installationand connec tion to external controls.Air volume pe rformance ranges from 200 up to
3,950 m3/hr.
The CAB range are s uitable for many generalventi lat ion appl icat ions where the noiselevel of the ventilation system is of particular
importance . Typ ica l app l i cat ions wou ldinclude ventilation s ystems for:
– Commercial offices .– Restaurants and cafes .– Libraries and pub lic buildings etc.
Construction
Dimensions (mm)
CasingThe fan ca sings are manufactured from heavygauge galvanised sheet steel and internallyl ined with a dense Melanex (M1 Type)acous tic insulation. All mode ls incorporateinlet and d ischarge circular duct connectionflanges with integrated rubber air seal. The s pec ific des ign of the products e nables a
cove r to be removed and the motor / impellerassembly accessed without the requirementof removing the fan casing from the ducting. This CAB fan cover is s upplied as standardwith “ quick-fix” fixings to enable fast removalor fitting w ithout tools . All mod els are a lsosupplied with four mounting feet to facilitateany ceiling, wall or floor mounting installation.
Motor / ImpellerAll models incorporate a s ingle p hase, 230V50Hz, direct-drive low pressure forward cur-ved centrifugal fan (with scroll). All motorsincluded in the CAB range are of, “enc losed ,”type and are fully speed controlable usingvoltage regulation.
To obtain the Sound Power Level Spectrum, subtract the corresponding correction factor shown below from the value given in the TechnicalCharacteristics table (values in Hz).
