Creating a Science in Education Challenge now boosts Indiana’s standing in academic excellence in a national theatre and creates a workforce of dynamic professionals when America needs them most.

What is Mission 2010?Mission 2010 is a program through Space Port Indiana™ that provides a

pathway for educators and students to engage in advanced levels of science education to meet growing needs nation-wide.

Creating an academic challenge Starting with Space Camp in August And aligning throughout the school

year including workshops, Inquiry Based

learning, launches etc.

Enabling learners by offering programs that encourage advanced degrees or

certification through SPI and Purdue University.

How does it work?

Through a series of workshops and curriculum developed by SPI and Purdue University College of Technology, teachers and learners have

the opportunity to engage in labs, science experiments, real time activities and challenges that are outside the normal classroom, but

vital to the development of a national workforce.
