Introduction

Overview of Space Vector CorporationSpace Vector Corporation (SVC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Pemco Aviation Group. Its modern facilities located in Chatsworth, California, provides engineering, manufacturing, vehicle integration, test and office space.

Founded in 1969, SVC specializes in providing low cost launch services, vehicles and associated subsystems to government, scientific and commercial customers. Over the years SVC has built its reputation on providing its customers with “on-time and on-budget” solutions to their launch vehicle needs.

Since its founding, SVC has served as prime contractor for 37 launches and supported in excess of 300 launches total, as a major subsystem supplier.

SVC was the first company to launch a suborbital rocket system using surplus Minuteman rocket motors:

• Aries (NRL) first flight test Oct 17, 1973• Conestoga (SSI) first commercial
