Conclusions of the Spanish Competition
• Great learning opportunity for all students involved• Two student projects in parallel (CanSat, Rocket)• First time for most of participants
• High effort, pressure and stress for organizers• Non academical or financial support• Organizing effort underestimated
• Many Spanish students willing to participate again• Unlikely to happen...
European CanSat Workshop 1st October 2009
Conclusions
• CanSat is a great learning platform, not only technical• Highly motivating and challenging for students
• Academic support will enhance the learning experience• High workload to volunteer in organizing
• International exchange - standards?• Join efforts - European event?• Development of new ideas - kits?• Knowledge database - European expertise?
• Reviews with experts will enhance the education experience and motivate students to demonstrate their skills
