Lección 2Objective: Your goal at the end of the lesson is to describe past events and avoid repetition when answeringquestions and telling stories.
Step-by-Step:
1. Getting Ready: Start with a review of the Preterit tense (past tense) learned in your Spanish 1 course. You can find it in thetextbook in Chapter 6, pages 200-201, and 204.
2. Read and Study:
A. Now that you feel more comfortable with the Preterit, you are ready to learn other verb forms in the past tense thatare useful when talking about previous events. In your textbook, read more Pretérito on pages 220 and 234- 235.Memorize the conjugations of regular and irregular verbs in the Preterit form.
B. Watch this YouTube video created by Señor Jordan about How to Use Double Pronouns. Then study the use ofdouble pronouns found on page 237.
C. Learn about the Caribbean Spanish-speaking countries. Read pages 242-243. You may use this information whendescribing a real or imaginary past trip to a foreign country in the Caribbean.
3. To-Do Assignments: Go to MySpanishLabPlus and complete the assignments for this lesson.
