Sawing
Grinding
Filing
Punching
These Manufacturing processes were used:
Cutting
• By Abrasive Disc
• A rectangular(180×45) sheet was obtained
Punching
After cutting the sheet of dimensions:(180mm×45mm×5mm)
The sheet was punched according to the drawing.
The use of coolant may erase the ink marks so I did punching.
Milling
• Face milling
Face milling
How Milling Was Done?
Grinding
To remove the material from the edges
Drilling
• Through holes
Sawing
• Hack saw to remove material
Surface Finishing
Grinding
Filing
Sand Paper(final)
Grinding
Rough sheet was made smooth
Remove rusty surface(Hand Grinder)
Filing SQUARE FILE:
fits into corners well.
HALF ROUND FILE: for curved surfaces
