Oct. 10 SPANOS INDUSTRIES GROUP LATEST NEWS THE ÒGREEN DEVELOPMENTÓ is taking place in quick pace in the region of Central and Western Macedonia, Greece. THE RELEVANT MUNICIPALITIES of Imathia and Kozani prefectures have leased hundreds of thousands of square meters of land in rough and unapproachable areas, to ÒEnergiaki PolymylouÓ, subsidiary company of the multinational ÒGamesaÓ (Develop- ment and Sale of Aeolian Parks). The construction of the Aeolian park will also present reciprocal benefits to the relevant municipalities through the sale of electric power. Overall, 19 wind generators will be installed (each one of them will produce electric power of 2MW), and their foundations are already under construction. IN PROJECTS OF THIS NATURE, where access is almost impossible, the cost of installing a fixed concrete plant is unprofitable and some times prohibitive; taking these under con- sideration, the subcontracting joint venture Ò Techniki Anaptiksi ATEVE Ð Latomeia Vourka AVEEÓ, responsible for the concrete sector of the project, has selected and trusted the innova- tive mobile batching plant ÒMOBISPA- 2Ó by SPANOS ODYSSEAS AVETE , with a capacity of 80m3/h. According to Mr.Vourkas Nikolaos, President & Managing Director of ÒLatomeia Vour- ka AVEEÓ, the selection of MOBISPA-2 Òwas based on its top manufactur- ing quality, its rapid and cost-saving transportation, installation and opera- tion and the 24/7 and credible techni- cal support provided by SPANOSÓ. THE MOBILE CONCRETE BATCH- ING PLANT MOBISPA-2, is mounted on two (2) semi-trailers which fully cover the traffic regulations regarding dimensions, lights, signs, breaks etc and which are fully unified with the batching plant. Upon them, lie assem- bled and connected all the systems concerning storage, operation, weigh- ing, transport and mixture, and eve- rything else that renders the machine fully autonomous. THE FULL COVERAGE of the traffic regulations does not demand the issue of a special transportation license, and therefore, all that is demanded for the transportation from one job site to another is a common 2 axle tractor per semi- trailer.
