2020 brings a renewed FOCUS to Chicago Flower & Garden Show — a 20/20 FOCUS ON FLOWERS that’s meant to inspire, educate and motivate the crowds at Navy Pier, Wednesday, March 18 to Sunday, March 22.

To prepare for this exciting celebration of flowers and education, we’re offering a $100 stipend per session and inviting leading horticulture experts and industry educators to join us as we roll up our sleeves to create another memorable event. It's our desire to build on the quality of the education presented to our attendees while introducing our speakers to a new audience of enthusiasts — a win-win!

A new VISION for 2020 has us seeking sessions on the latest trends, cutting-edge information and diverse topics to make up the Get Growing Series. And to bring more participation and excitement to the show, Get Growing is moving all classrooms onto the show floor — nestled in the gardens.

Our goal is to actively promote your participation throughout the months leading up to the Show - so the sooner you submit your application the sooner we can get started. You may apply for more than one presentation on a variety of topics! It’s up to you!

GET GROWINGEDUCATIONAL SERIES

In partnership with the 501c3 nonprofit, The Get Growing Foundation, our mission to inspire, educate and motivate the next generation of gardeners is getting a boost! We are proud to offer a $100 stipend to speakers this year while we also bring all of our education to the garden floor within 3 garden classrooms.

The Get Growing Series offers presenters the opportunity to share their skills and knowledge through hands-on demonstrations, lectures and panel discussions for an audience eager to go outsideand garden.

Why Participate?

• Share your knowledge and expertise with a new audience (orreconnect with your existing base) in a personal and up-closesetting - a great opportunity to promote your company, book,blog or simply your passion for gardening!

• Have your and/or your company information featured on theShow’s website to generate publicity and buzz about yourappearance to expertise.

• You and your topic will be featured in the Show eNewsletter(42,000+ subscribers) and on social media (25,000+ followers).

• Utilize our Presenter Table or Seminar Table for book signings,promotional information and/or a meet and greet with fans.

• An opportunity to showcase your greening and environmentalindustry leadership. Help cultivate the next generation ofgardeners!

Presentation Information:

• Get Growing presentations take place 15-times daily within one of 3garden classroom settings - each fully-equipped, professional stagewith a seating capacity of 100.

• Each presenter will have up to 45-minutes to share theirknowledge with attendees.

• A laptop and two display screens positioned on the stage astandard microphone, as well as a lavaliere microphone areprovided.

Your seminar will be included in our year-long, regionally focusedmedia and public relations campaign.

Applications will be reviewed and considered by show management. Presenters will be notified by email in early fall of

acceptance and scheduling. Provide the following information with this application. A fresh photo and bio will be

required, whether or not you have provided one in the past.

A photo of yourself, this may be in-situ ora headshot:

• 300 dpi JPEG file only is required, at least 1.5-inches wide at 100 percent

• A short bio –four sentences max,please

• Two- to-three sentence presentation description
