Since January 2009, Nicholas Rosellini (Italy) was appointed as
Deputy Assistant Administrator and Deputy Regional Director of the
Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific and most recently also
appointed as Director of the Bangkok Regional Hub. Prior to that,
Nicholas served as UN Resident Coordinator/ UNDP Resident
Representative in Bhutan (2005-2008); Director, Office of the
Assistant and Director, BoM (2000- 2005); Deputy Resident
Representative, Viet Nam (1996-2000); Assistant Resident
Representative, Pakistan (1992-1996); Programme Advisor,
Ethiopia (1989-1992) and Programme Officer, Ghana (1986- 1989)
in the positions of Programme Advisor and Programme Officer
respectively.
Nicholas holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the London
School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from
Bristol University in the United Kingdom.

Lykke Andersen

Lykke is currently serving as the Manager of the UNDP JPO Service
Centre in Copenhagen. Previously she has worked as Deputy
Resident Representative with UNDP Uzbekistan (2002-2005), and
Programme Specialist with the UNDP Regional Centre in the Slovak
Republic (1997-2002). Lykke joined UNDP as a Junior Professional
Officer with UNDP in Kyrgyzstan (1993-1995) and with the Regional
Bureau for Europe and the CIS (1996-1997).

Rana Irshaid Andersen

Before entering the field of Human Resources with UNDP in 2003,
Rana worked as course designer and technical instructor with LMD
Ericsson. Prior to that, she worked as an Architect both in Denmark

UNDP/JPOSC in Copenhagen, Denmark, where one of her focus
areas is selection and recruitment.

Rana holds a degree in Environmental Design of Architecture from
North Carolina State University, USA, with specialization in Building
Archaeology and Restoration from the Royal Danish Academy of
Fine Arts. She also holds a Master’s degree in International Human

Pierre has specialized in professional training and communication
throughout the early years of his career. Pierre has joined the UNDP

Support, UNDP, where he covers issues related to data and indicators for measuring the new sustainable development goals. Prior to that, Serge had the dual roles of Governance focal point in the UNDP Team on Post-2015 and Policy Specialist for E-governance and Access to Information in the Democratic Governance Group at UNDP's headquarters in New York. In the Post-2015 team, Serge contributed to the organization of worldwide consultations on the priorities of the new development agenda, particularly on governance and institutional capacity. Serge started his career with the Sustainable Development Networking Programme, a UNDP pioneering initiative that played a major role in introducing Internet to many developing countries. Serge then went on to UNDESA where he remained involved in ICT for Development issues at the United Nations ICT Task Force and the Global Alliance for ICT and Development. Prior to returning to UNDP, Serge worked on strengthening e-governance and parliamentary ICT capacity at the Global Centre for ICT in Parliament in Rome.
Antje Watermann

Antje brings to this assignment fruitful experience with the Reuters News Agency and a traineeship with UNCTAD. Her first UN affiliation was an internship at the United Nations in 2007.

Scott Standley

Scott is a Policy Specialist with the Inclusive Growth team in UNDP’s
Bangkok Regional Hub. He has previously worked as Economics
Specialist in the Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific in New
York. Before joining UNDP, he worked in the IMF’s Independent
Evaluation Office primarily on analyses of IMF programmes and
policies in low-income countries and was also formerly a researcher
at the Center for Global Development.
Scott holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University and
a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Matteo Pedercini
Director of Modeling and Capacity Development Location: Washington, USA Contact details: [email protected] Matteo Pedercini is professionally engaged in sustainable development since 1999 and holds a PhD and a Masters in System Dynamics from the University of Bergen. He is currently director for capacity development and modeling at the Millennium Institute (MI) and has created several simulation models for national, regional, and global sustainable development planning in collaboration with governmental and international institutions. He teaches at the University of Bergen and other MI’s partner universities and has been leading training programs for development professionals in many countries. Matteo has been publishing in various fields, including integrated planning, epidemiology, agriculture, income distribution, migration, simulation and gaming techniques, and others.

Manon Bernier

Policy Verena is currently the Desk Officer for Bangladesh, Maldives and Sri Lanka at the UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub. Prior to joining RBAP 2012, she served as Policy Specialist for Aid Effectiveness in BDP and before this as Team Leader for Governance & Crisis Prevention in UNDP Azerbaijan. Before working with UNDP, Verena held several positions as Head of the UN Resident Coordinator's Office and UN Coordination Officer in Lao PDR, Timor-Leste and Afghanistan. She started her UN career as a UN Volunteer with the UN mission in Kosovo in 1999.

Saranya Chittangwong

Responsible for coordinating and facilitating the implementation of two small grants facility projects: Water for People Partnership and Mangrove for the Future. 10-year experience of project management on labour migration and counter- human trafficking issues particularly for migrant workers and their families from Myanmar. Of which, 7 years of community work as the Field Coordinator for International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Ranong and Phang Nga provinces, Thailand, focusing on improving migrant well-being and right accessibility through capacity building and awareness-raising to local authorities and Thai and migrant communities from different cultural and religious backgrounds and ethnicities. Kannika Jarusuraisin is External Relations Director for Procter &
Gamble Thailand, Myanmar and Laos, based in Bangkok Thailand.
She has been with P&G for 17 years. She takes responsibility for
government relations, Corporate communication and Corporate
Social Responsibility programs for Thailand, Myanmar and new
market, Laos. In order to bring P&G’s purpose in live, she led team
to establish P&G Thailand Foundation for Society to make
statement of P&G commitment to touch & improve lives in area of
health & hygiene, diversity and inclusions, entrepreneur
development, and environment. In 2013, she worked with UN
Thailand to launch “MY World” and enable Thai people in various
groups of age, gender, education, disability etc to mark a difference
for the better world post-2015. As a result, P&G Thailand become
the first UN’s corporate partner and won “MY World Outreach
Award for Asia Pacific and Oceania 2013” and “People’s Voice
Award: Best Communication Campaign 2015. She also involves with
different UN agencies e.g. UN Women for HeForShe, Unicef, UNFPA
for some programs.
Kannika is currently an advisor to Women Affairs Subcommittee,
National Legislative Assembly and co-chair of AMCHAM CSR
committee.

Karoline Klose

(German Development Agency), NGOs and the World Bank.

Ramya Gopalan

Ramya Gopalan leads UNDP's innovation practice in the Asia
Pacific, focusing on helping UNDP develop the next generation of
its services based on approaches and methodologies mediated
from different sectors. She manages a portfolio of over 60
innovation projects, leads the horizon scanning work and is
responsible for building innovation capacity across the region.
Ramya has helped set up a number of cutting-edge initiatives in
the area of technology and innovation. She has also been
contributing to exploring the nexus between public and private
sector work, developing new approaches to public service delivery

as well as establishing partnerships to adapt new technology and
ideas for addressing development challenges. Ramya Gopalan has
completed more than 10 years at UNDP previously managing a
regional knowledge networks initiative.
Ramya has a double Masters in Environment and Development
Economics from Loyola College, India and the London School of
Economics as well as a Post Graduate Diploma from the WWF
Centre for Environmental Law.
Kirstin Donaldson

Kirstin has joined the Asia Pacific Secretariat of the UN Development Group as an Australian JPO. Kirstin has most recently worked with the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, where she focused on the negotiation process for the Sustainable Development Goals as well as issues around multilateral effectiveness and performance assessment across the Australian aid program. Prior to her time with the Australian Government, Kirstin worked in the non-government sector specializing in climate change policy, advocacy and programming advice. Kirstin holds a Master of Development Studies, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (History) and a Diploma of Modern Languages (French) from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
