We are so very proud of our accomplishments. Our 2015 graduates were offered $2.87 million in scholarships. We currently have a senior who has been nominated for the John Motley Morehead Scholarship. In addition to rigorous academics, inspiring arts and outstanding athletics, each TBS Upper School student invests a minimum of 20 service hours in our community. Service learning and servant leadership promote compassion and foster altruism. TBS builds the whole child—promoting integrity and

The TBS Society is The Burlington School’s premier annual giving group whose donors contribute a minimum of $408 to TBS each year. The TBS Society leads the way in providing the resources

necessary to ensure that TBS remains a distinctive model of academic excellence. Gifts of all sizes are important, but

leadership gifts provide a significant percentage of each year’s Annual Fund. To recognize donors who give at exceptionally

Our newly created Alumni Council will be chaired by our first Jefferson Scholar and inaugural graduate, Asad Khan. Asad is a sophomore at the University of Virginia and he credits The Burlington School with fostering an environment where citizenship, leadership, and respect are the foundations upon which we learn.

We encourage and welcome all attendees of The Elon School and Burlington Day School to join The Burlington School Alumni membership. In addition, our first Alumni Gathering will be held Saturday, December 12th, in the Isabella Cannon room in McCrary Theatre before the Holiday Event at Elon University from 6-7pm, and during intermission.

Spartan Science Over the 2014 winter break, The Burlington School unveiled a $60,000 project that would enrich the academic experience of our students. New cabinetry, adjustable lab tables and stools, sinks, safety equipment and more will now be used everyday by students from Preschool 3 through 8th grades!
