CGIO undertakes the following research and industry-related work:
• Developing and publishing indexes such as the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard, Business Integrity Reporting, Singapore Corporate Governance Awards, Singapore Governance and Transparency Index, Sustainability Reporting
• Organising forums and rountables to stimulate discussion and disseminate best practices
• Preparing and disseminating case studies on issues relating to best governance practices
• Organising an annual academic conference to network with similar research institutions around the world
• Conducting training for industry professionals in governance and sustainability issues
CGIO spearheads efforts to promote intellectual leadership and the practical relevance of corporate governance and sustainability to business communities and governments in Singapore and Asia.
