Celebration of International Days:World Earth Day
ABPS Kotputli celebrated Baisakhi in the school on 13th April 2016.The students of
Bhaskar house took over the charge and made it a special day by presenting an
article, skit and folk dance in the morning assembly.The students participated in
these activities with great energy and enthusiasm. The most attractive event was the
folk dance which was a visual treat for the whole school. The school principal, Mrs.
Sangita Christopher appreciated and inspired all the participants. She also explained
the students how these festivals contribute in the up keeping of our culture,
prosperity and unity.

World Earth Day was observed on 22-Apr-16 in the school. The students conducted a
special assembly. All the events were organized and conducted by the Eco club and
Bhaskar house Students. They presented articles, thought, skit etc. in the assembly on the
theme World Earth Day. The most impressive event was the skit presented by the senior
students. They depicted the present deteriorating condition of earth and the necessity of its
conservation. It was really a thought provoking skit and it ended by asking the students
to take a pledge to conserve our mother nature. It was followed by a poem recitation by
students of class V. All the students and teachers involved in the assembly proceedings
were well appreciated by the school principal and were also motivated to actively
contribute their part to conserve the nature. Students and teachers were encouraged to
reduce the use of plastics and be ecofriendly citizens.
The students of Class IX were trained by the art and craft teacher Mr. Murugesan to prepare paper bags. This activity was organized to inculcate the habit of reducing plastics wherever possible. The students took part in the activity and made beautiful paper bags. This activity made the students aware of the harmful effects of polythene bags.

A Hindi recitation competition was organized for students of classes III-V to explore the individual talents and also to build confidence in them. The students left no stones unturned to prove their mettle. It was mesmerizing to see them reciting the poem with lot of expressions. All the participants were appreciated well and non-participants were motivated and encouraged to actively participate in such competitions.
A theme based colouring competition was organized for the students of classes I&II. The theme was Earth Day. All the students actively participated in the competition and made it a successful event. This activity allowed children to be creative. They summarized it in their own colorful imaginary world and painted it onto paper, it enhanced their skill.

of Waste’ competition
was organized on 23
April 16 for students of
class III-V to make
them aware of the uses
of waste materials and
also importance of
reducing waste to save
our mother earth. The
theme for the same was
Reduce, Reuse and
Recycle! Our students
demonstrated their
skills by making various
useful things out of
waste materials.
An Orientation Programme was organized for the parents of our tiny tots on 16 April 2016.The coordinator, Ms. Seema Sharma made the parents acquainted with the class routine and other activities. The parents of play group students were very eager to know the details of daily routine and it was a very fruitful session for the parents and teachers.

A Club Meeting was conducted on 23 April 2016. The various clubs planned for the academic session 2016-17, English and Hindi Literary Clubs, Eco Club, Science Club, Heritage Club, Disaster Management Club, Cultural Club, Health & Wellness Club, ICT Club and Art Club had their first meeting.The club members discussed and planned the various activities to be conducted throughout the session, to design the logo of the club and for electing the secretary and deputy secretary of each club. It was a very fruitful meeting and children actively took part in the activities conducted by the clubs in- charges.
Hobby Classes
The Adityans are continuously encouraged to take their sports and cultural activities seriously with utmost perfection. In order to train and motivate our students to take part in various inter house as well as inter school competitions, hobby classes have been arranged for students of Classes I to X. They assemble in the school at 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday and engage themselves for one hour by attending the various hobby classes. Students can choose their hobby classes out

Workshop on healthy Food A workshop on healthy food was conducted for students of class IX on 26 April 2016. The workshop was conducted by the Biology teacher Mrs. SmithaVenu. It was a very interesting and informative session for the students. They were given a briefing about the harmful impacts of junk food and soft drinks. The students were very eager to know about the causes of frequent occurrence of cancer, heart diseases etc. The session ended by providing tips to protect themselves from summer heat.

Felicitation of winners of Poster
Making Competition
Our nine students bagged various prizes in the poster making competition organized by Mines Department, KotputliCement Works. All the winners were felicitated by Mr. C. S Pandey (Unit Head, KCW) on 15 April 16 in the Mines Department.
Adityanshave proved their mettle by winning various prizes in the drawing competition organised by IT Department, KCW. The theme was cyber Safety. All the winners were felicitated by the School Principal by giving away the prizes in the assembly.

House Meeting
A house meeting was conducted on 9 April 2016 for students of Arun, Bhaskar, Martand& Ravi houses. The students and teachers of each house assembled in their respective venue and had an interactive session. The details of all the inter house competitions and criteria for participation were discussed in the meeting. Students were also informed about the upcoming voting session for forming the School council and House Councils.

Swachhata Campaign
A mega cleaning Campaign was organized in the school on 14 April 2016. The motive of the event was to clean up every nook and corner of the school. The School Principal and the teachers monitored the cleaning process and the swachhata campaign ended at 5:00 pm.

ISA Briefing Session
To provide an international dimension to our curriculum and to gain an
international bench marking our school registered for International School Award
Accreditation. A briefing session was conducted on 4th May 2016 at Surya
International Hotel New Delhi. The session was conducted by Mr. ArijitGhosh,
Mr. Ramesh Kr. Singh and Mrs. SmithaVenu attended the session. Mr. Ghosh
guided and provided lot of insight on how to frame action plan collaborate and
register the school on schools-on-line website. We strongly believe that the ISA
Projects will provide an international exposure to our students & teachers to
become global citizens. Around 25 schools participated in the briefing session.
Celebration of world Environment
Day
World environment day was celebrated at our
school to prove any carry forward the task
that we are consciously aware of our existence
as a hired within the whole web called nature
and not the creators. A poster making
competition was organized in the school on
the topic Environment. The students actively
took part in the competition and made
beautiful sketches depicting the present
deteriorating condition of nature and the
ways to protect our mother planet.

Counselling
A career Counselling session was
conducted for students of Classes IX-
XII for two days from17 May to 18
May 2016.The session was conducted
by Mrs. Shakun Vijay from Jaipur. A
session for the parents of classes IX&
X was also organized on 17 May
2016. The counseling sessions were
very fruitful for both parents and
students as they were given detailed
descriptions of various conventional,
non-conventional and semi
conventional career options. A session
on stress management was also
conducted for the teachers. I t was a
very interactive and refreshing session
for the teachers.
