Since 1992, HACU has offered one of the best internship programs in the country.
We believe that participation in an internship is an invaluable opportunity to gain
hands-on work experience. Unlike so many other internship programs in the na-
tion’s capitol, there are no fees to apply for or participate. On top of that, all intern-
ship positions are paid, housing and travel can be arranged at no cost to our in-
terns, provisions can be made for interns to receive academic credit, and free pro-
fessional development activities are regularly offered during the program.
– Learn about the types of internship experiences offered
– Hear personal testimonies of past participants
– Gain knowledge on the application process

LEADERSHIP ON DEMAND
Leadership On Demand was designed with you – today's busy student – in
mind. Each one hour workshop covers a specific leadership skill or topic and em-
phasizes application. After attending our workshops, you’ll be able to turn right
around and use what you’ve learned in your daily life.
What’s more: attend any 4 workshops and you’ll earn a “Leadership Academy”
certificate, recognizing you as a leader who is dedicated to honing their craft.
The first step to being a great leader is showing up.
Together with your fellow student leaders, you'll discuss ways to take your leader-
ship skills from ordinary to exemplary. You'll walk away with a deeper understand-
ing of how you can more effectively guide groups that you are a part of, and how
you can become the leader you were always meant to be.
Drop in to any session! Attend any 4 and receive a certificate! Topic schedule sub-
ject to change.
Scheduled Workshops
October 18 – The Art of Persuasion
October 25 – Public Speaking
November 1 – Student Leader Panel
