Accenture in the Philippines creates opportunities in Cebu“eBloc 2 represents the growth potential of Cebu. Accenture Cebu grew more than 100 percent in FY12 alone when eBloc 2 was launched. Over the years, Accenture has always looked for strategic locations in the country and the Cebu facility is one of the country’s best locations. Strategically placed in an exciting metropolitan and economic zone, the space showcases a beautiful view of the mountains and sea and is located in a highly urbanized space in the sunny city of Cebu.

Accenture in the Philippines launched its facilities on the 14th floor of eBloc 2 on April 3, 2012. Work on the 15th floor followed two months after. eBloc 2 is located within the Cebu IT Park, a 24-hectare, Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA)-accredited business compound characterized by green spaces and well-maintained landscapes.

According to former Accenture Cebu Delivery Lead for Technology Darwin Soriano, the company’s expansion in eBloc 2 was an important part of Accenture in the Philippines’ growth strategy giving the team in Cebu space for more projects and expansions as well as a facility for accepting more Accenture talent.

The eBloc 2 facility is the company’s third in Cebu, following locations in Pioneer House at the Cebu Business Park and at Robinsons Cybergate Cebu.

Darwin Soriano was the former Accenture Cebu Delivery Lead for Technology from 2011 to 2013.
