hello ?it’s for you.

There are two new valuable servicesnow available to you in the Port of Houston...

First of all, we’d like to introduce ourselves. We’re -HOUSTON PORT TELEPHONE SERVICES

a division of CoCo International Corporation. As our nameimplies we are the new telephone service working in thePort to fulfill a need that, until now, was unanswered. For some time now there has been a gigantic lack ofeffective communication between the vessels docked atthe Port and the rest of the world. Basic, simple, vitalconnections we take for granted in our offices andhomes.., of course, we’re talking about the telephone.Until now, a ship docked in port had to rely on distant, inconvenient phones or on messengers manually relayingthose important communications. Now, however, weoffer the alternative... HOUSTON PORT TELEPHONESERVICES.As soon as the vessel docks in the Port of Houston ourrepresentatives will be available to install a telephonedirectly on board. Local and long distance calls can thenbe placed and received directly.., simply, easily. Nowasted time, no lag in communications, rain or shine. Nolonger need a ship in port be isolated from the agent, thecity of Houston, or the rest of the world.

And as a companion service we are proud to announce theforthcoming premier edition of the

HOUSTON MARINE YELLOW PAGES... a specialized directory designed to put information oncompanies providing the goods and services used in allphases of the marine industries at the buyers fingertips. The HOUSTON MARINE YELLOW PAGES will be distributedfree of charge to qualified buyers in Houston and thesurrounding area. This includes vessels docked in thePort, shipping agents, etc. The directory will also includea special section for the personal use of visiting seamencovering areas such as places of interest andentertainment. Over 100 ships arrive in the Port ofHouston each week and one dollar of every three spent inHouston is spent in some phase of the marine industry.Capture your share of this market. If you supply marinerelated goods or services, your advertisement in theHOUSTON MARINE YELLOW PAGES can put your companyin front of that buyer at that most important moment.., themoment he needs your servicesMay 1st, 1982 is the deadline to be included in the premieredition. For detailed information, just call.
