They offer high load capability in combination with a compact footprint, for highly versatile applications. The DM 1258 / DM 1288 are suitable for various industrial applications including metal, engineering, plastic, wood, electronics, chemical, pharmaceautical, and food production, as well as other sectors. The powerful suction units provide a high level of continuous suction capability, with ability to work with demanding system configurations. High dust handling and filtration capacity is achieved using high efficiency large industrial polyester needle felt envelope filters with teflon coating, or alternatively filter cartridges, complete with integrated filter cleaning systems (manual / motorised / jet-pulse). A over-sized 120 litre dust container ensures high capacity dust collection. A secondary HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter is available for ultra fine particulate extraction. The Dustmaster DM 1258 / DM 1288 compact dust collectors are powerful high airflow extractors for dust generated from various industrial processes and welding fumes. They offer high load capability in combination with a compact footprint, for highly versatile applications.
The DM 1258 / DM 1288 are suitable for various industrial applications including metal, engineering, plastic, wood, electronics, chemical, pharmaceautical, and food production, as well as other sectors.
The powerful suction units provide a high level of continuous suction capability, with ability to work with demanding system configurations. High dust handling and filtration capacity is achieved using high efficiency large industrial polyester needle felt envelope filters with teflon coating, or alternatively filter cartridges, complete with integrated filter cleaning systems (manual / motorised / jet-pulse). Principle of operation and benefits:The dust-loaded air enters the Dustmaster through the Ø160mm inlet
via a hose or extraction arm (optional upon request). The elbow arrests dust movement, and the tangential inlet causes a
cyclonic effect to enhance the separation of the dust from the air stream.The heavier dust particles are separated from the air stream and
collected in the oversized 120 litre dust container. The large volume enhances dust settlement and allows longer operations.
The air streams upwards towards the powerful 2.2 kW industrial fan which produces high suction performance.
The lighter dust particles are collected on the large high efficiency M class 5.8 m2 envelope (or 8.8 m2 cartridge) filter, with <0.1% permeability, which easily handles most industrial dusts. An optional H class secondary HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter with <0.005% permeability for very fine dusts is optional.
The clean filtered air is exhausted by the fan into the room or may be channelled outside (with customised portal).
When the pressure loss over the filter becomes too high, as indicated by the pressure gauge, it is easily maintained by switching off the Dustmaster and cleaning the filter regularly using the cleaning device, orvia an automatic motorised shaker. Alternatively, cartridge filters equipped with continuous jet-pulse (compressed air) cleaning are available for high/continuous dust loads.
The wheeled dustcontainer is steadily secured and detached with a sturdy and user friendly cam mechanism.
