IRON PRO Flexible chest Like the other Lapauw ironers, the IRONPRO is equipped with a 100% carbon steel, thin, flexible chest. The chest is raised by hydraulic actuators that work according to the same principle as the Lapauw hydraulic chest raising system. Wide range The IRONPRO comes in roll diameters of 500, 600 and 800 mm. The working widths range from 2200 up to 3300 mm (including 3500 mm for the 800 mm roll). Easy to use A SIEMENS PLC unit is standard equipment on the IRONPRO and allows the creation of different ironing programs. A color touch-screen displays the ironing temperature and speed, and is easy to program and use. The IRONPRO is also equipped with a smart-LED lighting system that spans the full working width and illuminates the feed bands. But the smart-LED system does more. By changing the color, the system signals the operator what is happening (error, ironer is heating up, ironer is ready...) Easy to maintain and install Next to the open spare parts policy, the IRONPRO offers other features that keep your Total Cost of Ownership to a minimum. First of all, the IRONPRO can be picked up and transported by a fork-lift truck. Also, all technical areas are foreseen with easy to handle cover panels so that they are easily accessible. The motor is foreseen with a direct drive system and the suction motor is mounted directly on the roll. This means that the machine doesn’t use any belt drive system and has no belts to replace or maintain. With the IRONPRO ironer, Lapauw brings Lapauw technology and quality to the small and OPL laundry. Gas and electric heating All IRONPRO models are available in a gas heating and electric heating version. Both the electric and gas heating system are indirect heating systems, identical to the Lapauw system, where thermal oil flows through the chest.
