1
Dear colleagues, dear friends,
on behalf of Croatian Logopedics Association it is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to the 4th Congress of Croatian Speech and Language Pathologists with international participation, which will be held in Zagreb, Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Science, University campus Borongaj, from September 22 – 25 2010. This year our topic is: “Speech and language pathology and challenges of the new era”
The Congress is multidisciplinary, with the aim to be a bridge among experts with different fields of interest who are scientifically and expertly involved in prevention, diagnostics and therapy of persons of all age groups (infants, preschool and school children, adolescents and adults) with verbal and/or nonverbal communication disorders (language, speech and voice).
Congress will provide plenary sections, oral and poster presentations, workshops, and round tables. Due to offered sections, Congress participants will have the opportunity to exchange scientific and clinical experience, new ideas and information on new technologies and their application in everyday practice. We do hope that the chosen topics and distinguished plenary speakers from home and abroad will arouse your interest.
We would like to encourage you to spend the time in Zagreb to take a trip to Hrvatsko zagorje castles and to visit natural beauties of this part of Croatia. Also, we wish you to join us on gala dinner, enjoying just being together with old and new friends.
Zagreb is the capital of the Republic of Croatia and the biggest city in Croatia. For centuries it has been an important center of culture and science, and now of commerce and industry as well. Zagreb can offer to the visitors the baroque atmosphere of the Upper Town, picturesque open-air markets, diverse shopping centers and a delicious home cuisine. In spite of the rapid development of the economy and transportation and growing number of population, Zagreb has retained its charm, and relaxed feeling that makes it pleasant place for living and desirable tourist destination.
We hope that the Congress will fulfill your expectations, because Congress success depends on you and your active participation.
See you in Zagreb!
