I hope you all enjoy special times with your family and friends and give thanks to all that we have. I know that the students are ready to have a week off to relax and rejuvenate. (As I be- lieve, the teachers are too!) CONGRATULATIONS to Emily Rojas! Emily placed first in our school spelling bee that was held on Thursday, Nov. 16. We are so proud of Emily. She did an excellent job, as the competition was quite tough this year. She will now move forward and compete in the Diocese Spelling Bee on January 11 at St. Marks at 8:30am. Angela Hess placed sec- ond. As our Budget Drive continues, I am reminding all that your minimum $500 tithe to the parish is due Dec 31, 2017 to receive parishioner tuition rate for the 2018-2019 school year. If you have not done so, I am asking that you take the time over the holidays and complete your tithe. On Saturday the Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts invited Texana Living History Association to campus and learned about some of the pioneer history of the Dallas area. We learned how they made their own clothes, made rag dolls, and pretended to milk cows to get milk
to make our own butter - which was delicious!
